Thank you EVERYONE for coming out and supporting Celebrate Virginia Live and Project 324 as we kicked off the 2013 concert season. The concert Friday night with Billy Currington was amazing. I had fun helping to set up for the show and meeting all the vendors and sponsors. We could not do this with out all of you and the volunteers.

It was great to see everyone having fun and dancing to the music and signing along. Seeing and hearing about friends running into each other that they hadn’t seen in awhile.

We love getting feedback from the community. What did you like? What would you like to see? What was your favorite moment? You can post comments here or on the CVL Facebook or Twitter accounts.

I wanted to say thank you to Thunder 104.5 for sponsoring Harmony Cove this year. I had a lot of fun talking and playing with the kids. Did you have a picture taken in the Foto Booth? I love bounce houses and thought we should add them to the area this year. I was so busy I didn’t even take a twirl on the bull. You bet I will be doing that at the next show.

While we were setting up I was getting hungry watching all the food trucks arrive. As the night went on, my stomach was growling watching plates of beach fries and funnel cakes walking by. I did manage to cool off with my favorite Hawaiian Ice.

I hope we will see you all out there for Sheryl Crow on July 12th. Please spread the word. Tell your neighbors, co-workers, friends, and family. Tickets are still available online or at Legends Sports Grille.

See you at the show.

And Speaking of Rock

I love summertime. Going to a concert on a Sunday night and not having to worry about school in the morning? Priceless!

It is going to be a thrilling day at Celebrate Virginia Live. Daughtry will be in the house!

Looking forward to making my rounds in the golf cart, helping to set up and visiting all the vendors. I like to start my day with a Lemon Hawaiian Shaved Ice. They are super yummy. After I work up an appetite riding the bull I head over to Beach Fries for a snack. Before the night is over I have enjoyed some Papa John’s Pizza and my mom stops by the Famous Dave stand. She keeps telling me she is going to gain 15lbs before the concert season is over. She has a weakness for funnel cakes.

Get there early get something to eat and make sure you stop by the 95.9 booth and spin the wheel, see my friends at Job.com, check out the Fredericksburg.com tent, and say hi to Melvin and Anthony Campbell from Fredericksburg Live. You might just find yourself on the CVL Rewind this Wednesday.

Come find me at the Project 324 bull and dunk tank. I will be with the Round Up Crew. I will have stickers to pass out. Don’t forget to purchase your CVL T-shirt. We will even throw in a beverage ticket with each sale.

Time to start getting ready……..see you soon!!
